Policies

Custom Order and Artwork Policy

This policy explains what artwork we can use, how proofs are reviewed and approved, and what happens when changes are requested.

Effective date: August 19, 2026

Accepted file types

  • Preferred vector formats: AI, EPS, PDF, SVG
  • Accepted raster formats: PNG, JPG, TIFF, PSD
  • Multiple files may be submitted in a ZIP archive
  • Files up to 25 MB each can be uploaded through this website. Larger files can be sent by a shared link to info@houseofzynq.org.

Resolution requirements

Vector artwork is preferred for signage, cut vinyl, and dimensional lettering. Raster artwork should be at least 300 DPI at the final printed size for small-format items, and at least 150 DPI at final size for large-format items such as banners and backdrops. Low-resolution files, screenshots, and images pulled from websites may not reproduce acceptably. If usable artwork is not available, design assistance can be requested.

Customer responsibility

Customers are responsible for the accuracy of spelling, numbers, dates, colors, and measurements submitted with an order, and for confirming that they hold the rights to any logo or artwork provided. Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements unless HOUSE OF ZYNQ performs an on-site measurement service.

Proof-review process

After artwork and specifications are received, we prepare a digital proof showing layout, wording, dimensions, materials, and finishes. Review the proof carefully against your own records. Approving the proof means the proof is the specification we will produce.

Included revisions

Each custom order includes two rounds of revisions to the digital proof at no additional charge. A revision round is a single consolidated set of requested changes.

Additional revision charges

Revisions beyond the two included rounds are billed at our stated design rate, quoted before the work is performed. Extensive redesigns, new concepts, or artwork recreation are quoted separately.

Approval before production

Production begins only after written approval of the final digital proof is received. Production timelines begin at that point.

Changes after approval

Changes requested after approval may require a new quote and a new timeline. Materials already ordered, cut, printed, or fabricated to the approved proof may not be refundable.

File ownership and retention

You retain ownership of the logos and artwork you supply. Original working files, layered design files, third-party fonts, and licensed stock assets may remain the property of their respective owners and are not automatically transferred with an order. Final customer-approved production files are retained according to our internal record-keeping practices so reorders can be matched to a prior approval.
